Where we are
The main branch is in Pandan Indah — 17-1, First Floor, Jalan Perubatan 2, 55100 Kuala Lumpur. It sits close enough to the Ampang border that a good share of our students come from there and from Taman Maluri.
The second branch is in Bandar Damai Perdana, Cheras — No.2A-1, Jalan Damai Perdana 1/9A, 56100 Kuala Lumpur. It tends to serve families around Damai Perdana itself, Bandar Tun Razak and the surrounding Cheras neighbourhoods.
Both teach the same instruments to the same standard with the same faculty, so the choice is genuinely about the journey rather than about what is on offer.
Choosing between them
Classes run weekly — a minimum of forty-five a year, once public holidays and the academy's own break are set aside — and most of those journeys fall on a weekday evening. That makes traffic the deciding factor far more often than anything else, and it is worth being honest about at the start — the branch you can reach calmly on the fortieth trip is the right one, not the one that looks marginally closer on a map.
If you are genuinely between the two, pick whichever has the time slot you want. Which brings us to the question we are asked most.

The timing question
Everybody wants the same hours: weekday evenings after school and work, and weekend mornings. Those slots go first, and they fill quickly.
Two things help. If your schedule allows a weekday afternoon — the window straight after school, before the evening rush — availability is considerably better and the roads are kinder. And if you are flexible about which of the two branches you attend, we can usually find something sooner.

No. Come to a trial and let the teacher advise before you buy anything. What suits a beginner and what suits a student two years in are different purchases.
Piano and ukulele start from two. Lessons at that age are short, structured and playful, built around a toddler’s attention span rather than a syllabus.
Yes, and a number do — including complete beginners. Students here range from age two to working adults. We do not believe in age limits on musicianship.
Every three months, at the academy and at external venues, at every level. Every performer receives a VEMA Certificate of Completion.
What the first month looks like
The sequence is the same at both branches. You message us with the student, their age and the times that genuinely work. We match you with a teacher and reply on WhatsApp within a working day. You come in for a thirty-minute trial, one-to-one with that teacher — a real lesson rather than an interview, so you can see how the student responds in the room.
If it fits, you take a weekly slot with the same teacher. Continuity matters more than most families expect: a beginner who sees a different teacher each week spends the first minutes of every lesson being re-diagnosed instead of taught.
After that the rhythm is simply weekly, with a recital roughly every three months as the point everything aims at.
The questions worth asking us
Enquiries tend to focus on price and timing. Those matter, but they are rarely what a family is unhappy about a year later. The questions that surface the rest are these:
- What qualifications does the teacher who will actually teach my child hold?
- Will we have the same teacher every week?
- How often do students perform, and where?
- What happens when we are ill or away?
- Who do I talk to if something is not working?

What we teach
Eight instruments, all one-to-one, weekly: piano, guitar, violin, cello, drums, vocals, gu zheng 古筝 and ukulele.
The faculty is twenty teachers, every one holding a music degree at minimum and several holding Master’s qualifications. ABRSM and Trinity examination preparation is coming soon.
